 No previous experience is necessary as a Credit Advisor Volunteer! A professional credit counselor from ACCC will train you to initiate conversations about credit counseling, including topics on hospital debt, strategy development, and credit report reading. During this training you will have the opportunity to apply these new skills through mock sessions. We are also offering for volunteers to have their own credit report pulled and reviewed during this training (please just simply complete and return the attached consent form before the training session). Volunteers are asked to work for at least one shift a week during tax season but whatever time you can give is always appreciated!

Please know that if you choose to attend any of the trainings held at the Federal Reserve Bank you should bring a valid ID with you to present to security desk. Also, your belongings will be subject to screening and you will be asked to walk through a metal detector. Also, a light meal will be provided.
