Training & Events

A dedicated consumer website has been developed for the general public and financial education educators and counselors to stay abreast of the latest updates on financial matters and upcoming training and events. Please visit Mass Saves.

There are many areas of training and information provided for our participants. Most trainings cover financial education and planning but we understand that there are additional topics that consumers need to be successful long-term. As someone pursues opportunities for home ownership, business start-up or expansion, or continued education, their understanding of what it takes to be successful or to make appropriate decisions can be critical.

Midas Collaborative members facilitate courses to help community members prepare for asset ownership.  Topics include lead paint in homes, homeownership 101, refinancing, business planning, creating a website, tax information, selecting a college, financial aid information, and many other topics. Follow us on Facebook for event listings or call your local Midas member organization.

For community-based organization interested in learning more about our work, join our mailing list or join us at our regular meetings, held quarterly at host sites around the state.
