These are links to curricula and resources that provide content on a myriad of topics related to personal finance. Many are self-contained but others are modular, and can augment existing programs.

Workforce Opportunity for Women
Put together by Women Work! - this is a list of resources centered on women's workforce issues with some focus on financial education and other issues that may effect women.

Financial Education Clearinghouse
Put together by the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE), the Financial Education Clearinghouse provides a listing and information on general and subject specific financial education curricula.

Financial Education Toolkit
Also put together by the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE), this online evaluation toolkit has been designed to help financial educators understand evaluation concepts and efficiently apply them to their educational programs so they can document the impact their programs have on students

National Council on Economic Education
The National Council on Economic Education (NCEE) is a nationwide network that leads in promoting economic literacy with students and their teachers. This site contains resources designed specifically for students and teachers.

Practical Money Skills for Life
Sponsored by Visa in partnership with many other organizations, Practical Money Skills provides rich resources on financial education for children, adults and small businesses.  The site offers resources, games, calculators and helpful tips to make managing finances that much easier.

FDIC: Money Smart
This financial education curriculum, created by the FDIC, is a 10-module series available in both an instructor-led version and a computer-based instruction version.

Masachusetts Department of Education: Financial Education Resources
This site provides resources for genearl financial education, as well as some that are specific to teaching the ABE and ESOL population.

United Way Financial Education Toolkit
Designed with the Massachusetts community in mind, the United Way developed an online resource to help practioners better understand the role and resources of financial education in the State.

Caution with Credit Video
This video, part of the "Caution with Credit" resources from the State Treasurer's Office, provides testimonials and information for young people entering into the economy to help them better understand the use and misuse of credit.

K-12 Resources

There are many financial education resources dedicated to serving youth and school-aged children. Below you will find links which provide resources or curricula specific to this population.

Federal Reserve Education
The Federal Reserve System provides a number of interactive web-based resources targeted high school students ranging from 9th to 12th grade.

JumpStart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy
Dedicated to the mission of ensuring that students K-12 are provided access to financial education, this site provides valuable links, resources, and information dedicated to this cause.

Financial Literacy 2010
Launched in 1998 to increase the average high school students savvy about personal finance and investment, this organization has online resources and links to other organizations to assist in providing financial education to the youth population.

Teach Children to Save
A site of the American Bankers Assosication Education Foundation provides access to videos, newsletters and other resources to help teach children about saving and financial education. The site also has more general financial education links as well.

Online Financial Education Video Game
Become a celebrity and improve your finances with this free, on-line game developed by Doorways to Dreams.

School-based Curricula
The Pennsylvania Office of Financial Education has developed a wealth of on-line resources for educators, including standards, individual lessons, packaged programs, and more. Much of it is organized by grade level. This is a very rich site to spend some time on.
